Socially-Distant Open House and Pickups (May 2020)
Responsible Open Houses and Baby Hedgehog Pickups
After shutting down our open houses and baby hedgehog pickups back in March, Kelly and I decided to take advantage of the warmer spring weather. We reviewed the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services COVID-19 Guidelines, and felt confident enough to maintain a safe environment. So we finally started organizing outdoor pickups! Baby wipes (for hedgie poop), sanitizing wipes (for objects surfaces), and hand sanitizer was readily available, and masks were required even though we were outdoors.
It should also be noted that Sean has HSI First Responder Certification (CPR, AED, and First Aid), Kelly used to be a medical aide, and we have multiple pharmacists and medical personnel in our family, so we leveraged that knowledge to provide as safe an environment as possible.
If you would like to attend one of our open houses, please fill out a questionnaire, and check out the open house information page!
